About Annie Chin Taylor, M.Ed., CFMW
Annie Chin Taylor is a mother of two 20-somethings. Before her children were born, Annie taught elementary school in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Florence, Italy. Parents and faculty both acknowledged her classroom as the place where students' emotional development was as important as their academic growth.
When Annie's children were ages 3 and 5, she began experiencing debilitating pain and stiffness. The diagnosis: rheumatoid arthritis. Afraid she wouldn't be able to play with her children or continue homeschooling her daughter (and later, her son), she committed to healing her body.
She learned that it wasn't just her body that needed healing, but also how she approached life. Five years later, when Annie handled her 10 year old daughter's upset differently, her daughter said, "You've changed, Mom". She had changed, for the better.
Annie presents at conferences and workshops, facilitates clients, and teaches tools and processes to empower others to change what isn't working in their lives and to invite possibilities beyond their current circumstances.
